Doodling for adults

Ready to let go of perfectionism?

Everyone can draw, even you!

I’ll teach you fun, easy techniques to doodle past your inner critic, and sketch what you see. You’ll soon find joy in drawing, illustrating, and recording your daily life here in Switzerland using pen, markers and watercolour.

Watercolour for beginners

Go with the flow.

Learn to let go and play with colour.

I’ll teach you simple exercises that build your sense for colour, pattern, line and form. Plus you’ll learn how to play with the fantastic qualities watercolour offers to add a spark to your sketches.

Take a look at photos of a recent sketching workshop at the Lindenhof!

  • I love sketching and painting with Barbara! She puts you at ease with clear instructions, easy exercises, and her open, bubbly personality. You’ll learn everything you need to find your creative voice and get sketching in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

  • I was always focused on perfection and found drawing was super stressful. You just opened a big door for me!

  • Barb convinced me that anyone can draw and paint…even me! It just takes practice. She helped me build confidence and taught me that my sketch doesn’t have to be perfect! Now I sketch nearly every day and it’s introduced me to so many great people!

    My Mom (full-disclosure) 🤣

  • Barbara introduced me to fun, daily urban sketching over 6 years ago and I’m still hooked. Her enthusiasm and generosity in sharing materials, techniques, and creative knowledge were inspirational. ‘Focus on quantity and the quality will take care of itself’, Barbara stressed and she was right.
